The year 2006 marks 60 years of music for Charlie Tibor. Starting as the "Rhythm Cowboys", brothers Al, Bernie and Charlie along with Mom Tibor started playing for dances in 1946. Sister Dorothy and brother Ernest joined them shortly.

Over the years the group was expanded to include all ten brothers. Francis, Gerard, Harvey, Jerome, Kurt and Larry, as well as sisters; Irene, Marie and Noreen all played or sang in the band at one time or another. Over the years the band's names included: "The Country Cousins", "The Mavericks" and "The Tibor Brothers".

In 1968, Charlie moved to Billings, Montana and along with his wife Ardelle and Brad and Mary Baker, formed a band called, "The Partnership".

When Brad and Mary moved to Great Falls, Charlie and Ardelle picked up a new drummer, Eddy Becker and a new name, "Charlie Tibor & Company".

Charlie and Ardelle moved back to North Dakota in 1974 and continued playing with various musicians including brother Bernie, his son, John, and sister-in-law Shirley, and Charlie and Ardelle's son, Bryan. On special occasions, sons Grant and Mark and daughter Cheryl performed with the band.

During stints when Bryan had moved to Florida, the band enjoyed the drumming of Mark Draeb, Clyde Staiger and niece, Tracy Tibor.

We would like to dedicate this CD to all the great people we've had the privilege to work with over the years. Hope you enjoy this CD.
